This was our first purchase from the Boutique. I'd bought a Patrimony from an authorized retailer in New York and two pre-owned 2nd generation Overseas Chronographs from other collectors, but hadn't registered any of these or worn them to the Boutique, so neither the brand nor the Boutique had reason to perceive loyalty. What Eric discerned the day he gauged our interest, he would later say, is an appreciation for the Vacheron Constantin brand, its history, and its watches.
