didn't you know that all watches from a certain period had sandpaper scratch finishing on the Geneva waves to go with mismatched plate and bridge numbers, symbolic of man's imperfection in God's beautiful Creation? Bill

unscrupulous sellers are putting legit (and non-legit) parts together to make some convincing timepieces. If I saw this watch today I would make sure not only that the case and movement serial numbers matched, but also that the black dial, a somewhat rare...
