From your basic description...
it sounds like this watch would date from the early 19th Century
(1815-1830). That said, I think you need to contact the people at VC to
get a proper accounting for this, as only they have the documents to
definitively answer questions about this watch.
I had never heard of the FC Vacheron trademark.
