How many years between the 222 and the 3700...
... I am asking because I am trying to explain the perceived differences in dial/hands quality.
While this VC is by far more rare and appeals a lot, i may prefer the PP for two reasons:
a - generally more round design elements
b - the bezel
Which of the 3 is your favorite?

Turns out the silhouette shot of my PP Nautilus 3700 was quite liked. What about the VC 222 "Jumbo"?
This icon is dated 1977, so it's the 40 years anniversary for this particular one. And, as most of you know, it houses the same movement as the Audemars Piguet 5402 and the Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700. Have a (soon) good weekend! Cheers, HSTE ...

That's may be strange for many collectors but this VC has, for me, at least the same appeal than the RO or Nautilus. I really love it and I don't desperate to find one one day.

Agree with you. If I remember well, only 500 were made in steel in 1977 so it's a true and rare keeper in my opinion.

I rade on the Hourlounge that 500 in total were made but with 3 different dials (black, rosé and silver)

...222 came to market in 1977, the 3700 came to market in 1976 ...my ranking of favorites: 1) AP RO 5402, 2) PP 3700, 3) VC 222 Cheers, HSTE
