Is is possible to do better, in the Vacheron modern world, than these 4? Cabinotiers and other unaffordable Vacheron apart, of course... 4 different expressions of a similar philosophy, focusing on beauty and elegance. Funnily, there is only one watch amo...  

how is this Cornes De Vache compared to ALS 1815 Chrono or PP 5170, in terms of movement, in your opinion? In terms of looks, VC looks really good.

I know it all comes down to preferences but I also agree whenever I look at ALS movement, I’m always awestruck. Thank you 🙏🏻

This VC in Pt is very alluring and the secondary pricing is very attractive now.

There is no perfect watch... okay, maybe if you decide to order one from Les Cabinotiers.

Lemania is a very reliable, ‘true historic’ movement. PP used it in the 5070 for a long time. I don’t think that using not in-house movement is a serious disadvantage for manufacture, just compare the current value of the PP5070 and PP5170. We know a lot ...

Esp the boutique edition with patterned dial (not guilloche but something similar).

I’d pick the chronograph historique as much as I like the 1921 and chronometer royale. What about you Nicolas? You get one as a gift and can never sell ot trade it. Which one would you pick?

Absolute classic. When I saw it in person, I realized why so many Purists and others were smitten by it. Really really nice in the metal

The undisputed winner for me is the Cornes de Vache. The legibility is the only weak point, so expecting to see the Pt version with another dial color one day. I would also add the small seconds Traditionelle (38 mm) in the list.

...perfectly sized, and such elegance! And a +1 for the 38mm Pt Traditionnelle Patrimony too!

But I think the standouts are the 1921 and Cornes de Vache. The use of color on the dial adds some visual interest and they both have great case designs. In this photo comparison, one cannot appreciate the thinness of the Ultra Thin 1955 or the beauty of ... 

Given the choice I’d much rather have a watch that looks better in person than in photographs. Watches that look better online than in person are good to add to the free virtual collection photo album.

If we talk about a dress watch with no complication, I would really like to bespeak one of those Villes Lumières with them, a great style theme invention with a lot of emotion. ...

What can I say, my absolute favorite watch is on the list so I’m 100% happy already.
