It's a wonderful idea, that Dominique Bernaz, Directeur la Maison VC, told me a couple of months ago. Fascinating is that the idea has grown during four years, so it's as always when it come to this, the oldest watchmaker, a seriously and developed plan, ... 

How do you think this will play out? Of course I expect to pay a premium but do you think we will now see a lot of one off unique pieces? white dials turned to black, romans to arabic, guilloche vs no guilloche etc etc.......

Hi, Dominique Bernaz told me that, fundmentally you will be able to design your own watch! Of course the whole idea is that it's an ongoing cooperation between the customer and the Maison. And surely they will have their thoughts, but they are also hoping... 

alas, with no money! It would be a dream to have VC make me a unique piece. Just out of curiosity, does VC have a stock of old movements available for casing, like the caliber 1007/1008 as was used in the Chronometer Royal watches? Bill
