I, too, have marked this as my "next watch" in the last few weeks. I have exhausted my usual methods of sourcing with no success. I have seen references to only about 100 being produced. It seems like a hole in their lineup right now, so hopefully that gap gets filled in the coming years. The grey dial and 40mm size is what I love most about the piece. I wonder if a SS version may be in the works?

There should be a Lot less than 5000
According to Internet sources VC produces all Models included about 20k watches per year . The 2000v has been a boutique exclusive and Not readily available watch, so they will have produced a Lot less of those, than of other Overseas models per year.

I read PP produces 1100 pieces of 5711 per year. Based on the hype and still seeing some green 5711 on chrono 24, my guess is 2000v is at least less than 1000. Thank you for your response.

100 is the answer I see the most often.

Serial 1345xxx was wrong
I dropped my jaw when I noticed right now that the serial 1345xxx on YouTube was what they call Overseas XF, which I understand as super replica or whatsoever. Anyway, production of 100 now sounds more persuasive.
I've been hunting a 2000V for the past 3 years to NO avail 🤦♂️🤷♂️🙉🙊🙈. It is indeed a unicorn but I am hopeful one eventually finds it's way into my collection...
Until then, I will be happy with the Overseas Perpetual Skeleton in WG when I get the call 😉
