American pocket watch, so any round wristwatch with railroad minute track is going to be a hit, but she prefers unadorned. If VC made the Traditionnelle 81590 without a diamond bezel it would probably be her favorite VC.

Perhaps, this is the direction of VC for lady watches. The skeletonized dial and heavily decorated dial just don't match harmoniously. They will look better if they exist independently. Regards Ling

Carnival watches
That's what they look like. I know it's high horlogerie & jewelry but they looks to, I don't know, cheapish bling bling. When to wear it?? It's not done wearing a watch during a gala party.
These are very fun and pretty watches
but also contain a open work, engraved movement with poincon de geneve (not a quartz mvt). What's not to love? They only make 20 of each so it's a minute fraction of production, plenty of other models in other styles for every taste and budget.
