Vacheron Constantin

Not my words, nor my intention, Bill!

"If you want an investment, then discuss your options with your financial advisor. If you want a nice watch and can afford it, then go out and buy it and wear it and enjoy it and photograph it and share your ownership experience here with other people who are passionate about watches." (citation from Bill´s answer)

I do not buy watches as investments.

Nevertheless situations in life may come up, when you have to part with an expensive watch to raise funds.

But even if you do not, there remains this fact of lower resale values.

I do not think this topic should govern our discussion of watches, but do we have to ban it at all?

Kind regards from a fellow watch enthusiast (not watch investor smile),
