Thanks for the 2012 warm up!
The Aronde is so sexy.
The Overseas Perpetual Chronograph is a wonderful addition to the Overseas line, and I wonder if it will be offered as a regular production model. The NY Boutique version has to be seen in person to truly appreciate how stunning the dial is. It really pops in person.
And the World Time...well, as I have written before, for me it is the category killer. To me it is the only WT that does what it is supposed to do, and it does it so elegantly. I am interested to see if VC will offer it in a white metal. If it were possible to offer it in a slightly smaller case, say 40mm., I would not oppose that idea, but on the other hand, a larger dial makes it more legible with so much information on the dial, an issue confronting all world timers.
I am glad to see the photo of the cal. 1400. I am trying to read as much as I can on that now. I'd be interested to hear what other folks think of this movement that has now been in service for a number of years now. I must say it is a very good looking movement, to my eyes.

Don't like the case, which is far from being sensual, and I hate this automatic movement.
A great watch, in my opinion, is a nice case ( which is not the case on the VC... Have a look at the profile, it is thick and graceless, once again, in my opinion ) a nice dial ( which may be the best part of this watch, but how busy! ) and a fine movemen...

Yes. This RM Skeleton is just one of the finest watch I ever saw in mys short life.
As for the Traditionelle Manual 38 mm, yes, this is another nice one. But I would go for the JLC MUT, for much less than the VC Patrimony Cal 4400. Best, Nicolas.

Hope you don't mind my intrusion into the conversation, but I have the same issue with the newly re-issued caliber 1120 and it's rather chunky rotor design. Sure it's pierced with the Maltese Cross motif, but rather clumsy in comparison to previous VC 112...

Having AUTOMATIC on the EP Patrimony Contemporaine
Self Winding would distinguish it from the EP 81180, but then it loses some of the cleanness that is the hallmark of the Contemporaine deisgn. I don't mind the PT950 on the dial of my watch. Bill
