Thanks for sharing your story.  It is educational for those of us who are yet relative newbies.  I have a few pieces I think of as watches I would never part with, but when I look at what you have traded for a grail piece, then I begin to wonder what I may do 5  or 10 years from now.  Well, we'll see, I guess...

The QP and the mecator were just beautiful -- I guess they still are, just somewhere else.  Based on what you wrote about the remaining two, I can completely understand why you  kept the ones you did.  And does it feel liberating to have fewer watches to care for, wear and rotate?  I wonder.

I look forward to seeing the new ONE when it arrives this month.
