The MGC is/was one of my favorite watches....
I purchased one as soon as it was available and wore it frequently. I loved the stepped and flared lugs, the (too small) in-house caliber 1400, and the guilloche on the dial that swept outward from the subseconds.
Winding the watch was a absolute pleasure, both to the touch and to the ear.
But if you are not going to wear it, then you probably should pass on it, and consider instead the Patrimony Traditionnelle, with the more appropriately sized caliber 4400. The case on this watch is 38 mm, and I like it even more than the Malte's case.
It might get some wrist time, and that is the best way to enjoy a watch.

It is indeed a "classic" as the name implies. Simple & elegant, with a touch of flash in its styling & with its unique gilloche. Sure, one could quibble about the spacer viewed on the case back, but how many people even are aware of such issues? I only we...
I own a YG too
I bought the GC 3 years ago, I consider it as one of the nicest classics watch on the market. I do not wear it that often too. Hope to buy another VC in the near future. Best regards, Baxter
