This year at SIHH...
I'm probably the only person that did not like "the masks." I can appreciate the artistry that went into them and the creativity, but in the looks department I just did not find any of them remotely attractive. So I'd like them to move on to a new theme.
My wishes for SIHH are simple. More offerings in the Historique line. More form shaped cases...round is nice but I like something a bit different. I'd also like it to have interesting lugs...the Malte lugs are nice but I'm growing a bit tired of them. I'd like VC to venture into their past designs for something we have not seen in a while. In addition, it should be no larger than 40mm. I'm feeling saturated with so many new watches in the 42mm+ range, some look nice and the size may have a purpose but some just look large just for the sake of being large.
I do like the Chronometer Royal that was introduced last year,...but how about a variation such as a rectangular CR with a curved case that nicely fits the contour of my wrist.
So those are my wishes for now. Of course they are subject to change.
