And this watch just seems so appropriate, post lehmans....it doesn't cause a "rich axxhole wearing patek" revulsion or "young upstart wearing panerai" disrespect!!!! After spending sometime in the vault, it was rehabilitated in early 2009 and had been in active service on the frontline since.

I had it for few years now, and it still bring a smile to my face. It did spent some time in the vault as well, but was "rehabilitated" in 2009, and have been in the regular lineup since.
An interesting regulateur
I really like the gray dial and RG combination. The combination of a second time zone with the regulateur dial layout seems unusual to me, but perhaps there are other examples of this...? I am a big fan of regulateurs -- still looking for the perfect one....
I bought the anniversary edition precisely becoz of the RG/grey dial combo
And the more interesting hunter case back. I could decide to inscribe some personal message on the case back also. I think it's a matter of convenience for the 11oclock pusher versus pinhole fr date change, and not a technical issue, but I could be wrong....
The Malte Dual Time Regulator
was one of the best selling VC's of the early 2000's. I really like this limited edition, which you have captured beautifully with your photos. Enjoy it! Bill

I am somewhat stuned that you feel like an underdog wearing a regulator VC, as opposed to wearing a Patek or a Lange. I actually find it to be a sign of distinction. I like the watch a lot. Best regards, George
dont get me wrong
I think VC holds itself up high versus the Langes n PPs, but somehow, in my building at least...they are far n few in between, and there are A LOT of PPs n Langes. Thus the comment about feeling like the underdog.

I nearly sold it away in 2008
But it was love at second "sight", went into cold storage, but was "reloved" post Lehmans when I wanted something politically correct to wear to office and see customers, that doesn't scream "PATEK ON WRIST"!!! And something that still reflects a certain ...
