I've stopped using these types of reference lists entirely after training myself to estimate amplitude by eye and then setting the lift angle on the timing machine accordingly. This is quite easy with a two-armed balance at 2.5 hz and 180 degrees (for example), but the same approach (watching where the arms cross) can then be extrapolated to more spokes and higher beat rates with pretty good accuracy (with practice).

Thanks John, I thought there was a pretty good chance of it being between 48 and 52. I tried to get this directly from JLC, but they would not give it to me. I agree with the approximately 6 degrees error for amplitude for every error of 1 deg for the lif...
