Daos! My daughter wouldn't lend me her Hello Kitty so i opted for a Seamaster . The travel was safe ... the police only stopped me once ... i was following them at 90 mph and overtook them, they couldn't laugh ... i could, after some explaining they let m...
But as you know it will be soon now my friend . The trip was good, the cops stopped me for speeding ... and they didn't fine me ... once again ... LOL. The 'term' jetsetter doesn't really fit me ... but when i win the lottery (if i ever buy that damn tick...
... combined with the other beauties i see around here . No time to visit our friend, too far to do the driving in one day .. BUT .... our friend found a new house i think, much closer to Dover and Folkestone so in the near future we can visit each other ...
But with a bit of luck, I may come with another rare bird... Superb, Blomman. I will have to find one of these original steel bracelets, one day. Best, Nicolas.
But at least I have the right brand… Thank you, Ubik! Yes, that is one of the big benefits and fun with vintage watches. It’s like a jigsaw puzzle – finding all the pieces and putting them together! HAGWE Blomman
Thank you, Oliver! I was first thinking on trying the bracelet on an E 855 with silver indexes. But I fear that would have given the watch less contrast. I am very happy with this combo! HAGWE Blomman
But I had it on leather strap – didn’t help… Most girls around here don’t know vintage… Except Rolex SM/SD, they have just started to recognize AP ROO (but most of the can’t pronounce it) Thank you, Bill! HAGWE Blomman
It’s very hard to find good taper straps and original buckles… Easier to find bracelets! So – yes, lately the disease have hit me hard..! Thank you, Rafal! HAGWE Blomman
. . . and just realized this might be your first Omega - can't recall any others, off the top of my head. Belated congratulations, and welcome to the club! I've been stocking up on vintage Omegas lately, five in the last year, three in the last month . . ...
No, not the first Omega. I've had my blaspheme piece since 2000, which I am actually going to sell. Upgrading my blaspheme piece to Radio Controlled/Solar. Cheers, -- Richard....
A freak like me Just needs infinity Relax Take your time And take your time To trust in me And you will find Infinity, infinity Words to live by. If only I knew what it meant. HAGWE.
.. a 10 year old Legend .. i get to drive it from time to time and it's seriously fast (only upgraded the brakes to special PRO-drive ones) ... a true drivers-car . .... . Filip...
Of course you can all guess what I’m wearing, but Art asked last week for a dual Journe wristshot, so here you go … Different but similar: trademark F.P.Journe screwed-down dials; 38mm Octa vs 40mm DS; YG vs WG dial; automatic vs manual; black vs blue str...
Not a hat camera, Richard, but a video of me trying to twist myselfAu to a reasonable position to shoot that photo would make you laugh. Just a tripod for this shot. Andrew
... and of course it was purposefully done. In fact since I put that blue strap on the DS (to bring out the blued hands and the subtle hues of the Pt case) I find I am wearing all sorts of blues, from jeans to jumpers. Horology as fashion? Who would have ...
... but likewise, I don't think I have actually used the DS to tell the time! Embarrassing, but the watch and Tourbillon is just to damn distracting! I'm sure I will settle down and start to use it as a watch one day. In the meantime I will just enjoy it ...
you only paid for the watch/piece of art and got the smiling for free. A fair deal, even for the people around you Oliver ps: Most of the time when I look at one of my watches, I have NO idea about the time. Some call it madness, some call it love ...
... Journe's look better in real life. The dials have much more depth, detail and life than I can capture in pictures. I wonder how they would photograph with anti-reflective sapphire, although I don't miss it in real life. Andrew
There's so much 'blue' in all the photos posted so far that it would be a shame to break stride: well, that's the excuse, anyway! HAGWE, all. Cheers, pplater....
