I’m sorry, but you are going to have to put up with this Submariner yet again. It’s the watch I reach for day after day when I don’t want to think too much. A watch for all situations, seasons and conditions. At least I can reward your tolerance with a ne...
Thanks for the kind comments, Art. Yes, a new camera, the Leica DLux-4. Well known to many on the Forum. It was the helpful advice of Geo and the shots of Oliver, Nicolas, Thomas and others that pushed me down this path. Very pleased with the camera and I...
I didn't quite appreciate the concept of a vampire watch until this Submariner came along. It is certainly assisted by the fact that it is versatile - fine for work, great with jeans, acceptable at a restaurant in the evening. I might draw the line at the...

Eric thanks you. We had a good day. PP makes 28800 bph movements, I believe, but PP, AP, VC, JLC never participated in 36000 bph development in the 60s and 70s.
It is gorgeous, but a bit small by today's standards. I have a daughter who likes it, so it will stay in the family - just as PP suggests in its advertising.
. . . as it portrays the strength and elegance of a modest watch. Kudos, Ginger . . . masthead photo for the week. Cordially, Art PS - happy belated birthday, Eric!
