Hi Graham,
sorry for the late response, but your assumption is perfectly right.
I feel the watch is almost timeless, could be worn in 1965, when it was build, can be worn nowadays and also in decades to come. Saying this, it also means, the watch is by no means "spectacular" or "fascinating", but to me the timelessness (does this word exist?) has its own, unspectacular fascination!

That rotor looks so good. IMHO The whole thing turns around, not just the lower part, that makes it so different. Very cool watches these Sarpaneva K2 and K3. GEO
