Deadliest purpose built watch in history.

...This watch was not built for fashion or style or status. It was potentially the deadliest mass destruction watch built for the Third Reich. That's the evil part of the watches history.

Wernher Von Braun would basically take this and escape from the Nuremberg trials as a war criminal and after the war, begin the USA Space Program. A father of NASA. My father worked with him in a distant role on the Gemini program an saw him often at Cape Canaveral as a rocket booster scientist. The watch is not mine or our family posession. Just a watch I was fascinated with due to the 65mm size and reverse dial.
This was for filming with negative film rocket test launches of the V2 rockets. It eliminates the need for printing from negatives.

Remember!! This was the race for the first atomic weapon. If Nazi Germany succeeded, this watch would have changed the world.






(Father was a scientist worked for Space Program, then a weapons system engineer, a artificial organ program manager, finally retired as a director of research for Pfizer medical devices. He did work for NASA as the only person capable of calculating the fuel mixture for complex non-cylindrical fuel tanks)
