Onestly, i am the oposite of a purist.
But next year i must have a strong watch. Which can resist beach sand and waterpresure.
I want an Omega or Ulysse Nardin, and as a tool watch i think a seamaster is the watch for my adventures.
An Ulysse Nardin is more the party watch at harbours when it is important to show your wealth.
It is iny miny muty, which become my diver next year.

You can´t go wrong with any diving watch from the brand you mention or from other brands like Rolex, Longines, etc.. Diving watches are by design among the strongest timepieces of course.
