For the first time in over twenty years, I will not be wearing . . .
. . . a watch in honor of a co-worker I deeply respect and admire . . . James gave seventeen years of exemplary service to the company I work for, but his position was eliminated yesterday as part of a 'reduction in force'. He's a man of utmost humility, modesty, and integrity, and was a pleasure to work with; even though he's never been a participant on The Purists, he's had a presence here as I've brought his home-made wine to our events in the past . . . his 2007 effort was well received by Bill, ET, and MTF at our gathering in Santa Monica almost a year ago:
