... chronographs and a few bubbebacks.
I have used them very little to time some "serious" event requiring timing but I often use them to cook my boiled eggs which I like with just 3-1/2 minutes in the hot water.
Anyway I find to view a chronograph working mesmerizing. I love to start and stop and start again just for the fun of viewing it working and accumulating minutes and hours with the little hands. And the joy is increased if I can see the movement through a transparent case back. A true mechanical marvel. It´s like Magic!
