HaHa...no one can ever live up to Vlad

 

All is good...never easy going back to school, being someone else's assistant, and taking a 80% paycut.
But in the end this 2 year fellowship will give me the ability to set my own work schedule, perhaps start my own private practice, and be able to spend more time with the family.

For some reason, the bezel is a very special component on a watch for me. The interface between the bezel and crystal, the decorative elements, and the thickness....it either makes or breaks the purchasing decision for me. Here are two watches with unique...

With it's Art Deco case shape and ... High doom plexi! A more well known example from Girard-Perregaux would be the Vintage 1945: HAGWE Blomman ...

I could stare at your photo for hours...imagine what would happen if I actually owned that watch...nothing would get done in the office I know the theme is watchcases...which the DB has a very unqiue one but that dial!!! Best, Mike
