Hello dear Captain and friends!! I join the event with …
… some of the few pieces which fell in my nets during 2022 and sharing also the only one who went to another home.
The first watch is a humble one which reinforces my feeling that it’s not needed to spend lots of money to get a watch which makes us smile and feel pleasure to own:
An Eterna Kon Tiki was found in January in NOS condition and with its original GF bracelet:
Also found a vintage watch I had been hunting for some time: an original Seiko Williard in a very nice condition:
Then a watch I missed to get when launched and presently a sold out edition.
I was lucky to find a full set unworn example of Pam 1075 Destro:
Then I touched the sky when I had the chance of getting a watch I had been wishing for many years: a Breguet La Tradition ref 7027 rose gold:
It was a surprise to receive the following watch as a Birthday present from a good friend who generously gave it to me from his own collection: Omega De Ville Chronoscope Rattrapante:
The one which left the collection:
My IWC Pilot chrono Little Prince (which still remained unworn in my watch box) went to my son celebrating his return home after living two years abroad with his family and also his recent civilian helicopter pilot license.

Interesting “out” selection ….
It must have been a difficult decision to trade the Omega Seamaster and the other three.
It was
Difficult to part with the 2254, although I still have one Seamaster left in rotation, the blue aqua terra which is a very versatile daily
The BB58 blue
Was also charming and difficult to part with, however I still have the Sub to scratch that itch! It was easy to move the RG JLC when I knew the 1815 is it’s replacement 😎

The Lange is sublime of course but the Seamaster also has a very appealing understated element to it 👌🏻👍🏻
