with my latest and oldest watch to date.... a Breitling Navitimer 806 circa 1960. I bonded with it immediately, maybe because we are both from the same generation and it felt very comfortable (40mm.) on the wrist. The intricate and busy dial is not what I usually prefer but somehow this elaborate detailing made it look cool IMO.

6610 is the other one, yes. That's the third which is more problematic. I think A Sub. Probably the 5508.
I didn't include the Tudors. I will certainly keep a Big Crown 7924.
That's what I guessed.. So it will be on top of the above mentioned 3 Rollies (6542, 6610, & the Tudor).. ;))

Rightly so, for me too.
The size (40mm), the look (no date), the superb manual wind Venus 178, the applied gilded logo, the glossy black dial with the beaded bezel. It's also the first generation, I think. cheers fernando

That is an interesting discussion we may have. The most famous, certainly.
But the greatest design... I don't know. There were some great treasures, such as the Superocean first generation, time only or chrono, and the Unitime, too. The Chronomat was quite appealing, also.
