Yes almost no one understands the watch. Due to the limited edition release for Longines anniversary, people just look away from the watch. But this was the ORIGINAL! It is not a re-edition of an already existing tool watch. It to my knowledge had never been done before unless included in a Patek arms race pocket super complication for millions of dollars. This one is purpose built. It is also a complication built into every Suunto and Garmin hiking and navigation watch. It is a feature I used to calculate how much daylight I have left on an all day hike out in the wilderness.
This Longines was vastly under rated. If this existed today and there were no GPS watches, it would be a valuable function.
