I found one recently at a local second-hand watch store . . .
. . . that was practically perfect - original gold-tone dial/hands/crown, gold-capped case, 218-9 movement (!) in seemingly good order (!!) - but there was a rather large catch: it had two sets of springbar holes in the lugs, which definitely wasn't the original configuration. The serial # puts it around
1965 / 1966 but you never quite know if all matches. It would seem that the dial feet first was also present around that time. I will differ to the experts. I love the watch. Bill
