As announced, this weekend’s WS theme is, ‘ The watch you will choose for Monday’. After Corona our sartorial habits have partially changed (pants these days optional), so I am hoping for a wide variety of answers of what you all strap on your wrists once...  

As I am currently what in some circles gets called ‘on the beach’, without swimming apparel, my watch choices for Mondays tend to vary widely, from very casual to somewhat more formal. Here some examples: ...

You start your Mondays strongly! I will be wearing my first Panerai, a 40mm PAM48 followed by another 6 which remain in my collection. It was also my first experience of getting on a waitlist. 😂 Think it was 4-5 months wait. Recently I saw it coming back ...  

That might even fit my wrist 😂👍🏻 Great piece and wishing you a great workweek ahead and us all waiting lists like that again 😉

My job at an administrative office doesn’t require formal attire since many decades ago so I can enjoy the pleasure of wearing my favorite diving watches every day. So these two will be ready for the morning and afternoon of next Monday: Tudor Submariner ...  

The two divers make for great daytime companions, with enough interest to keep you engaged, even if the meeting doesn’t 😉👍🏻 And your evening choice is as timeless as it is versatile 👌🏻👏🏻

I’m happy to know you approve these choices. The 5510 is one of my grails. It makes me smile every time I view or strap it to my wrist. And diving watches are so versatile! Always a practical choice for me. Best cordial regards Abel

All your choices are very nice. The Tudor Submariner ref 76100 from 1984 is an interesting watch. The characteristic “Lollipop” hour hand is a very nice design detail. Best regards Captain

... and also a bit surprising the short lived experiment of Tudor of using this design on their Submariner version. As it happened with the snowflake hands they intended to offer more lume and better reading of time at night or U/W. Always interesting for...

The Tudor appears like a well tested workhorse - a really good „GADA“ choice ! - on the Rado I also liked a lot the cute backside, with the „water sealed“ signage.. BTW: what does the little violet round window @12 indicate ? And finally, the last of your... 

Glad you like the choices and the little old Rado diver (Captain Cook). Yes, it is a charming early diver from the 1960's and the detail you view at 12 is the Rado emblem: the anchor over a red circle. It is present in all Rado watches. What is amazing is... 

In your first chosen watch, ie the Tudor 16100, you mention the pecularity of the charming Lollipop Pointer, which you appear to attribute to the HOUR hand (?!). - To me , however it would rather relate to the SECONDS hand, as the real hour hand itself is... 

… to the seconds hand of certain Rolex Subs or Explorers. But in this particular reference the name is given to the hour hand which replaces the typical Mercedes hour hand of Submariners. The picture below will illustrate this type. Cheers! Abel ...

The green small seconds is a real gem - sadly the local AD is a bit useless and wasn’t able to secure one. The Lemania’s are fantastic as always and so are the rest of your choices. I can well understand your decisions, decisions 😁👍🏻
