… and brown ceramic bezel insert. I automatically associate the color of its case, dial and bezel with the colors of earth, leaves and tree bark during the Fall Season. Yes, I know it’s a subjective feeling, but this was the idea of the theme of this week...

Which watch would you have chosen instead of your GS ?

A FF 45mm for 5k more, or Breguet type XXI LE for 6k more . Those options would make me smile so hard. Silly me.

I seldom take pics of watches at ADs…must mean quite a lot to have retained these pics in my phone. The Breguet Type XXI LE in orange or green slipped past. My AD called me if I wanted it, but I passed…(oh my I am the silliest person to do so) Panerai pic...

Not easy to choose just one Season among them: the Voutilainen makes me feel those long Winter nights. No need to tell you about my love for the CDV Vacheron which I also own. Lovely Spring watch. Stunning Moser dial catching Summer rays! And the FP Journ... 

The CDV is quite the “strap monster”! I particularly like the way that Vacheron take a notch out of the leather on one side of the spring bar end which makes it easier to get the spring bar tool into place. As well as the original Serapian strap that came...  

... the notch you mention in my straps. Do you have a picture of this interesting feature? Love the green straps you fitted to this watch. They make a stunning combo! Guess I will need to explore other straps options myself. Keep enjoying it so much Timeo... 

Here’s a photo of the grey Vacheron strap showing the notch. The Serapian strap does not have this feature, but all of the Vacheron straps - either calfskin or alligator backed - do. ...

The Hanhart has been haunting my horologic soul since it was launched. Guess it is a re issue of a favorite of Mc Queen. Very cool with its bund straps. Nice straps you choose for your racing dial Speedy. Very nice! Keep enjoying your watches all year aro...

Patrik has informed me the Ice Blue is one of the hardest to achieve due to the large surface area of the dial and very short window of time to keep the metal heated before the color changes again.
