Lovely theme
I was very sorry not to have ever met the Captain - I am still new around here and have yet to meet most - but he was always wonderfully courteous and funny and encouraging in interactions (and clearly had a great collection and a sense of style).
By way of contribution, something slightly leftfield - I don’t recall him ever having a UG but this one does have essentially the same Lemania movement as the Speedmaster and I hope he would have recognised a kindred watch here (even if the design is different and this release is from a different era).
