I have forgotten to include my Poljot I got from my father in the initial post (have posted it in Nilo‘s pilot watch post yesterday). Soviet watches have a different charm and I enjoy them quite a bit - not that I‘m an expert.
And the friendship will of course be the element you‘ll think of every time you wear it and that is - as you say - priceless!

It truly does change life for sure and even if it is a spectacular feeling it adds worry and a certain thoughtfulness that few people without children acquire

Yes, I find the dial to be the most interesting part of the watch. The case size is also interesting, as it is around 42mm. Thank you for the input on this one, because when I first recieved it, I didn't know what to make of it.

To be honest, when it was given to me, I hardly comprehended what it was. It took me a minute. Then I screamed for it back.
I didn't even know of it.
Thankfully, my parents never never spoiled me as a child, he is now passing down things he doesn't use because he knows I will take care of them.
