WristScan

my black swan is actually a blue dragon.

i had searched for several years for a dragon dialled watch that I really liked, but failed to find one until I went onto one of my favourite independents sites, Angular Momentum. I have Don Corson to thank for this as he did a post on the brand which got me revisiting the site.

there I saw the perfect dragon, replicating Chinese blue and white porcelain which I love, but done in a more complex way with reverse painting on sapphire.

after a couple of emails and modifications I had the perfect piece in my hands within 2 weeks. that's what I call unexpected.

the pictures can never do the dial justice and Andy will verify, it looks totally different in the flesh.

I don't wear it enough, but it is a very special piece for me. born in the year of the dragon as was my son, purchased in the year of the dragon with a vintage 70's movement that 'could' have been made in the year of the dragon.
