My grandfather's watch I inherited a few years ago...he bought it at the end of WWII. As it was purchased in the England, it has English Hallmarks and dates to 1944-45 when it was hallmarked in Chester.
It is showing it's age, with a heavily patinated silver dial, although the blued steel hands have remained in great shape. A very thin 9ct gold cushion case with several digs around 5 o'clock...
