One of the guys in our alphabet soup gang has the Petrograd . . .
. . . from the Museum Collection; he also has a Calatrava and a Reverso, if memory serves correct. The Omega à la Russe is a compelling piece, especially on the wrist.
I've been wearing my lucky Omega since Monday.
Why lucky? Two reasons: first, its totally unexpected arrival last Christmas. Second, it seems to bring me luck whenever I wear it.
Monday nite, bank-the-8 tournament, Mk II on my wrist. Three rail kick in the side, all the way around the table:
Money shot #1
Three rail bank in the side, short route:
Money shot #2
(At first,I was calling the long way in the near side pocket, but thought better of it and went short instead.)
For the finale, a three rail kick in the corner, from off the rail:
Money shot #3
The lucky Omega rubbed off on Jim, too:
Kids: don't try this at home
Then, on Wednesday, with the Mk II on my wrist, he pulled off an ace during our 3-ball tournament:
Three birds with one stone
These were all called shots - but it still helps to be lucky!
