Polished "White Titanium" GS for me today

This is the first Grand Seiko I bought, about 5 years ago. I still love the watch.
It looks like white gold or stainless, but it's a special white titanium alloy used by Grand Seiko on a few watches.

The automatic movement is nicely finished, carefully adjusted, and displayed through a sapphire back that has a lion laser-etched in the surface.
The lion is visible only at certain angles.

The dial has amazing textures - the GS logo - and the graceful proportions of the sparkling hands and markers always delight my eyes.
The chapter ring has a mirror finish, which reflects the minute markers and makes the dial seem much bigger. You can see it in this shot.
The size is just right for me at 38 mm

Here are a few more views against a different background. (Nice day outside, by the way. Wish I wasn't at work...)

It came on a white titanium bracelet but I put it on this strap soon after the purchase. I like the combination.

Extremely graceful curves on the case. This is surprisingly scratch-free after 5 years (admittedly careful and occasional wearings)

Happy Friday, everyone!
