Summer here is hot and humid, so leather backed straps are a “no go”. It’s bracelets or caoutchouc backed straps until the end of October. Camille Fournet made this calfskin one for my Duometre Chronographe. As well as this taurillon strap for my Zeitwerk...  

I unfortunately missed some of those while they were still easily available 🤷🏻‍♂️ Great choices all 👌🏻👍🏻

I´m glad you liked both the watch choices and the shots I took to share them. It is very fun to take pictures of my watches and the shooting adds to the enjoyment of my timepieces. They also serve as a reminder of nice vacations trips and bring fond memor...

My personal favs are the Habring2 with that textile/rope like strap and the Laine with its colorful pink strap; this without forgetting one of my favs of your collection, the Minerva and your truly cool GS with a great dial & black / white & this attracti...

Great selection of watches but the straps really define them. I particularly like the last one on your Minerva.

I have to admit to a certain dose of horofatigue - i.e. a low level of excitement when it comes to new watches. But straps are still fun 😉

I’m suffering from the same symptoms 🤒 What’s the remedy ?

I think abstaining works quite well - who knows, it might actually move them to rethink if enough of us do it 😉🤞🏻 And straps help, too - a fun, whimsical way to rekindle the joy of it 😊

The strap actually came off a Raketa Avantgarde but fits really well in this context IMHO 😊 Some really cool summer choices you have shown and nice to see a Fifty Fathoms of this generation again - cool piece 👌🏻👍🏻
