Spending time on a desert island means...
... it will be dusty or sandy, potentially watery environment. Therefore, robust, at least 10 bar water resistance. And at the same time, reliable, comfort to look at, and feel happy to wear..... and you may lose lots of weight, thus smaller watch may fit you better when rescued.... 
So this would be my choice.

It's certainly the obvious choice if ...
... rescue is your primary motivation. However, choose the right watch and who needs rescuing. ;-) [Typing this safely in the comfort of my home. I would feel differently on the dessert island I think. :-) ] Andrew
