Hi Damjan,
thanks for this challenging WS theme!
As far as I a concerned, my keepers/survivors are those watches that I simply cannot give away for personal reasons:
Oris Full Calendar - wedding gift from my wife more than 20 years ago
Dugena Calendar - engagement gift from my mother for my dad
Vintage Omega Seamasters - because they are so much my classic ideal of a wrist watch, that I would forever regret to have given them away!

...slowly but surely. My next piece, Damjan, will indeed be an AP, but not a Survivor ;) It already lies in its box, waiting for an event that will justify my giving it to myself...maybe Christmas?! Really, China is showing me the virtue of patience!
