I’ve been using the rubber strap the whole time during my vacation.
The strap in the first photo was the original band that came with the watch when it was sold.
It’s a recycled PET strap that feels extremely comfortable and light, soft but strong - much better than expected.
It seems to be - like the rubber strap - perfect for salt water, sweat or whatever else you throw at it.
But during my vacation, I wanted to keep it in good condition, so I didn’t take it with me.
So, I was a little hesitant to fully trust the manufacturer’s specifications. 😂

I highly recommend a trip to Portugal. While not often advertised, the bezel on that watch can be adjusted to show a second time zone (just without the typical 24 hour marker).
It is indeed one of the few European countries that have eluded me thus far 🤷🏻♂️
