The difference being in the movement employed and the case back hard hat helmet inscription which in the "de luxe" version (which is he one I own) is in high relief. Also this version has lumed numbers in the bezel.
Otherwise the looks of both watches is identical. The luxe version comes in an awesome case with the shape of a diving hard hat helmet.

I highly recommend a trip to Portugal. While not often advertised, the bezel on that watch can be adjusted to show a second time zone (just without the typical 24 hour marker).
It is indeed one of the few European countries that have eluded me thus far 🤷🏻♂️
