... when they announced these re issue of the originals some years ago.
As it happened with the originals (Bill owns a breathtaking collection of the original vintage models) the new Doxa series offered a Limited Edition with the US Divers emblem, which was the pioneer scuba diving equipment firm in the USA. US Divers marketed these watches in their catalogues of the 1970´s as part of their very complete line diving equipment.
Doxa also produced watches with special dials with emblems of diving related companies in the original series and reproduced them in the present modern line as well in Limited Editions.
But you can still buy these models with the plain (no logos) versions in their catalog.

I highly recommend a trip to Portugal. While not often advertised, the bezel on that watch can be adjusted to show a second time zone (just without the typical 24 hour marker).
It is indeed one of the few European countries that have eluded me thus far 🤷🏻♂️
