The idea indeed came from the K2 Bauhinia model with a black MOP dial. When I heard about this model, all pieces were sold out. I am a sucker for MOP dial, so I was quite disappointed in missing the release. Then a collector friend encouraged me to contact Kudoke directly, which I did. I was able to make a custom order and I chose the white or bright MOP, to be a bit different than the Bauhinia model. Mine is the second K2 with a white MOP. Thanks 😊

Love this hat - it’s a Lock & Co Napoli hat - made from sisal. They don’t make this particular one any more - so it’s been back for life-support treatment once after being sat on 😂

I have the prior re-edition which didn’t have the Broad Arrow hour hand. This one is smaller, thinner and a manual wind, compared to the automatic 2013 edition.

It’s nothing special really
The photo is from an excellent Japanese photographer named Hiro (I know that doesn’t help much). My main contribution was putting my Rolex on top of the photograph and play with Photoshop a little so it blended better.
