To answer your question, Filip, it is platinum. Now Graham, as you know I retired where I wore a dress watch every day under a cuff with a suit. Of course, now I do not and this Rolex gets very little wrist time and I tend to wear my Jaeger-Coultre Master Control or Grande Lange 1 when I do. It is not getting enough wrist time and secondly, I fell in love with a Sarpaneva Korona RG.

The serial # puts it around
1965 / 1966 but you never quite know if all matches. It would seem that the dial feet first was also present around that time. I will differ to the experts. I love the watch. Bill
