The new strap for this one seems to be leaking glue...
...onto my wrist. I guess I'll be wearing this one all weekend 
I do not believe that my cell phone picture does justice to the strap (or watch for that matter). I wish to thank everybody who replied to my request for advice on selecting a strap for this watch a while ago on JLC forum. Especially, I thank Daos for directing my attention to this particular strap and I also wish to thank CaliforniaJed for providing pictures and details which enabled me to procure it.
I can best describe both the colour and feel as a (horse?) chestnut (you know the ones that are not eadible but fantastic for building figures with matches - If you don't know, try it. It is good fun with kids). The strap is dark brown with a very slight red tint in it and the feel is so soft and fat! Fantastic!

I like it because its one tough cookie - I can play golf with it and do vigorous clapping without fear of damage to the movement. Its a pretty heavy watch but fortunately for the rubber strap it sits comfortably on the wrist.
