There are so many factors to consider . . .
. . . when judging Wrist Scan. When it comes to setting . . .
. . . it's kinda tough to beat Bill's boat.
When it comes to humor, jml's whimsical photo . . .
. . . had my mind wandering. Was it early morning or early evening? Shadow position would change, so he's either facing north or south. Given the length of the shadows, I'm guessing south.
Content-wise, it's gotta be Hans' . . .
. . . Ω. I agreed to be a judge, but never said I wouldn't be biased! A CK2913 always gets my attention.
Gotta admire padj . . .
. . . for posting what he claimed to be a wrist scan. I spent the better part of a minute ogling before realizing he was putting us on.
When it came to composition and technique, though, there were two that stood out. Andrew's Freak . . .
. . . and Manes' L&H . . .
. . . were both stellar submissions. Since only one should emerge as the finalist, though, I've got to hand the verdict to Mane. Superb positioning of both the watch on his wrist and hands against the dial, coupled with the delectable 'MADE IN SAXONY' script and sub-dial engraving, made his maiden entry tops in the Wrist Scan category.

I spent about five months thinking about L & H and making sure it would be my next watch. The watch takes all the credit; very photogenic!
