During peak COVID scare in March of 2020 when markets were tanking and watches were actually trending down, I reached out to a few Lange dealers to see who could do the best price on a Zeitwerk. Ended up getting one far below msrp, brand new. Didn’t really expect that level of a discount. Even got an SS Odysseus allocation. I’ve since sold the watch as it was a bit too bland for me on the dial side. Have since admitted to my love of open worked watches and pushed the collection in that direction. Still glad I was able to own this piece, even if just for a year or so.

Each time I see this movement, I’m fascinated by its specification and technical ability. All this and not a blued screw or gold chaton in sight.

Sometime, yes! Mike has seen it.
Because it slides so neatly up a shirt cuff and due to the Frodsham team's goal of making it very reliable (you may recall one prototype was worn on daily bike commutes, the other worn while mowing the lawn, etc), I've discretely worn it quite a bit.
