I have been yearning, YEARNING! to get a good rubber tropic in 23MM for my Bathy... I really hate custom strap sizes sometimes....

A friend offered me this watch , he got it with a trade and knew i like ,,different styled ,,watches . So thats how i got this watch . Nice fun watch . Not really my style but I couldn’t resist the offer .

Some of the more enjoyable straps I have are from less commonly used leathers Nubuck ostrich in navy Anaconda leather - with a very unique scale pattern and feeling on the strap when you touch it And gold stingray, to freshen up a vintage 2481 ...  

Do you have any pics of the ostrich on a watch??? Would so love to see it, 😁

The blue nubuck ostrich is a Vietnam based seller off eBay, and the anaconda was a one off project from a great guy in Italy who has made many straps for my vintage watches. Happy to give details via PM!

Lets kick start with a Jubilee.. I find rivet very sexy. If we talk bracelet - BP X-71 ought to be included. And if you do PAM....I have quite a lot of straps and many have yet to be mounted. Gator on the 87 and stingray on the 268. A water proof dive str...  

Bracelet wise I am going with X-71 from the Fifty Strap wise, I’ll do the Gator! Such an awesome color... Love it!!!

The ammo on the Zenith was made by Anthony Pang (Straps66) from Singapore.

Let’s see... If I recall correctly this might have been my first custom made strap - and it set me on many a strap journey since... Including the latest one - same watch but on a galuchat 😊 These days most of the straps I add are cashmere or tweed - like ...  

That galuchat - a very citrus vibe for me, taste a little sour in my mouth... Tweed or cloth - I have not elevated to this level yet, love it one the OMEGA very dapper, and Uber classy.. Blue electric toad - what can I say? oozes reptile-lity, if you will... 

I have more conventional ones, too 😂

This week is the perfect theme for me as I absolutely do not wear bracelets. I have to say my favorite go-to strap is tan “Egyptian Serie” strap from a well known maker in Indonesia. It pretty much works on everything as evidenced on the two watches below...

the one on the Leonidas is very special and the lizard matches very well for the Speake Marine but the winner is the ‘Covid’-red for me. It is so unusual! Who is the maker and what kind of material has the strap? Truly yours, Adam

This is the “Red Blackbay” strap from Gunny Straps in Indonesia. I assume it’s calfskin but I could be mistaken

The orange themed straps on the Ming and Seiko, love it, funny, I just added orange juice to a drink I made. The Gronefeld, with that blueish (maybe another color) , strap, may be a little funky, but good looking enough for the office. I hope to have one ...

Yes, the fish! I actually saw these for the first time with Beat in Lucerne about 3 years ago, and was impressed at how they wear. My watch is an Annual Calendar rather than a Moonphase ;-) although the original owner/designer was inspired to have Saturn ...

... the black straps with white stitching is commonly known as "sail cloth" and it is like a plastic thread canvas. The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms comes with a similar material straps. Mine are after market ones. They are offered with several colors of stitc...
