Vintage Omega
Dear fellow purists,
this vintage Omega I value more and more, although I initially (after having purchased it) put it in the watch box where it lead a sad life. But this watch definitely comes to life when worn at daylight. It has a lovely patina and IMO a timeless, very pleasing design. Incredible value for money!

. . . once the G O collection is complete, there's room for one more modern piece in my collection, and it will be a tool / sports / utility watch. Leaning towards a modern Omega, possibly a Grand Seiko.

Apparently the first ones had standard dial brackets, but the movement of the lunette in setting the alarm (I spoke inexactly when I said the alarm was set by the bezel) sometimes caused the dial to slip. This according to Horlbeck's treatise, the Alarm W...
