Looks great on your wrist; a long wait coming back from the watchmaker. It was exciting to be there when you found this at the "Vintage Omega Shop". You should post a more detailed thread on the Omega Forum. I think I have a couple more photos to share of the 'discovery'.

. . . the experience so far this week. There's another late '40s vintage Omega equipped with the successor movement (a cal 302 vs the R17.8 in this watch) that I'm hoping to add to my collection someday . . . cordially, Art
. . . I hope to get off a few quality snaps this evening, and will be posting on the Omega forum. It might need to be returned to the watchmaker for regulation as it's running a tad slow. LIke -1 minute per day :-( . . .
. . . a Reverso collector, blomman, had it not been for the Karrees. Golden ratio rectangular forms with complementary shaped manufacture movements are the watches that make my heart beat a little faster.
This version, with rose gold case and a black dial, sings like Dean Martin - very suave!

. . . once the G O collection is complete, there's room for one more modern piece in my collection, and it will be a tool / sports / utility watch. Leaning towards a modern Omega, possibly a Grand Seiko.
