Boy, this was a difficult round! So many watches, not only beautiful, but also horologically unique and fascinating!
First of all, I was a bit surprised about the small number of P15s posted in this thread. This either means that the majority of new owners did not post, or that they lead a very active life of watch acquisitions and have received already other timepieces after the Zenith.
So which are my favourites this week? Vintage or modern? Complicated or simple? Sober or conspicious:
I start with #3:
Watchonthewrist's Calabrese with jumping hours:
My selection for #2:
Speedie74's Daniel Roth chronograph with the El Primero movement:
So these two are representing the earlier phase of independent watchmaking in and around the AHCI. It would follow some logic now to place one of other great independent products of now into my selection, so many beauties have been shown: Sarpaneva, Peter Speake-Marin, HabringΒ², Laurent Ferrier.
However, Alkiro1 presented a timepiece so special and extremely impressive in its complicated mechanism and execution, that I simply could not bypass the "Reveil du Tsar" by Breguet:
My congratulations to all winners, and sincere thanks to all who made this week's wristscan such a great panopticum of beauty and perfection!
